The work consists of a total of 74 photographs capturing a search over a period of 4 weeks. The radius of the search area is 24.4 miles. The routes to the individual locations were mostly travelled on foot or by bicycle and in some exceptions by car. The average speed was 7.46 mph. The search took place during the meteorological summer. The average temperature at this time was 77°F.
Biography
Eva-Maria Schitter (*1993,Salzburg, AT) is currently working on her doctorate at the University Mozarteum Salzburg in the Department of Fine Arts and Design. In addition to her own artistic and academic practice, she works at various interfaces between art and mediation in art- and culture-related matters and is an assistant of the artist Agnes Scherer.
After completing her master’s degree in photography at the University of Art and Design Linz, she worked as a dairymaid on the Gruberalm. She completed her bachelor’s degree in MultiMediaArt at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences. Stays abroad have taken her to Sydney, Berlin and Red Wing/Minnesota.
