I Feel A Life With Both My Eyes, 2018–ongoing

‘I Feel a Life With Both My Eyes’ is the short span of a human life that becomes a point in the millions of years of human history. A vignette as a snapshot in which anything is possible. The work thrives on repetition and recurring organic motifs that are confusing and visually tangled. The idea of the simultaneity of events interests and fascinates me. My photographs are autofictional fragments and attempt to reveal the big picture starting from the small detail. It is a search for ambiguity, balance and new perspectives. The images in the series were created in different contexts and are held together by the colouring, lighting and composition. The processual working method and digital post-production contribute to the magical visual language. The title reflects the contradictory and ambiguous nature of the work. The series is in constant flux and a process, just like life itself.
