FOTOHOF>CALLING took place for the first time in 2021. Since then, the biennial open-call format, centered on the presentation of artistic photography projects, has been expanded to include the publication of the FOTOHOF>CALLING magazine.

As an association consisting of photographers and artists from different generations, FOTOHOF aims to contribute to contemporary discourse on photography and promote exchange between photographic artists, experts, and the public. 

With their selection, the members of FOTOHOF aim to reflect the broad spectrum of the scene. Projects in development are considered just as much as those already fully realized. Emerging and established positions, as well as the various genres and currents of photography, are treated and discussed on equal terms.
